Godwin, who has sickle-cell anaemia and is a guest of Glass Door shelters, shared his story with BBC Radio 4 as part of an episode about the challenges faced by those without a home. The program asks: If you are living on the streets, who will care for you when the end comes?

The program originally aired 13 February 2018 and will be broadcast again on 18 February. It is available to listen or download here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b09r4qdr

Godwin describes his condition and remains positive as he speaks with reporter Jane Deith outside the shelter at both Chelsea Methodist Church and Holy Trinity Brook Green.
