A brave team from Grosvenor House Suites is taking on the 10km and 15 obstacles of the Rough Runner on Sunday 6th October 2019 to raise money to save and change the lives of people experiencing homelessness, because nobody should have to sleep on the streets.

The Team GHS Glass Door Rough Runners are: Dan McCaskie, Lily Johnson, Andris Veigurs, Janis Laksa, Generoso De Stefano, Rajiv Erinjery, Robyn Cahill, Lena Labuda, Loubna Eddahmouni, Amilcar Vieira, Judit Voros and Dawn Vermeire.

GHS is proud to support Glass Door and we support their vision where noone has to sleep on the streets.

People come to Glass Door when they are at an absolute crisis point, with nowhere else to turn. Glass Door welcomes everyone as their guest, giving them some stability before helping them make the necessary steps move off the streets for good.

They open their doors all winter, every night welcoming up to 175 homeless men and women which makes them the country's largest open-access winter shelter network. In partnership with volunteers and churches, Glass Door provides a warm welcome, hot meals and a safe place to sleep.

Every guest who accesses Glass Door's night shelters and drop-in centres are encouraged to engage with one of their caseworkers.  They take the time to understand the individual’s situation, build trust and help create a personal action plan to tackle often multiple complex needs that has led to the person’s homelessness.

Please donate anything you can so we can help some of London's most vulnerable people off the streets and back on their feet.

And think of us as we get dirty and soaked in the Rough Runner! Photo evidence will be available after the event.
