I have always found it difficult to comprehend how anybody can be turfed out onto the street. I have come across former barristers, ex-servicemen and women, professional footballers that have fallen onto hard times, so on and so forth and I find it disgusting that there is such a stigma attached to homelessness. Every single individual has a story to tell on how their journey has reached the stage it is currently at.

Not every street sleeper is a drunken drug addict, although it is rife in the homeless community.

As human beings, we need to reach out to our fellow man and help. We are all somebody's child and sometimes circumstances can't be avoided. It could happen to any of us at any time, no no room for complacency.

Reach out to your fellow human.
