On 2 October 2020, a small group of us from St Luke and Christ Church will be bedding down in various places, joining Glass Door Homeless Charity's Sleep Out to bring shelter and support to men and women affected by homelessness.

We choose to support Glass Door because we witness on a regular basis the amazing work the charity does to to support and shelter those in our community who are at an absolute crisis point. Glass Door welcomes everyone as their guest, giving them some stability before helping them make the necessary steps and move off the streets for good.

Ordinarily, our parish hall hosts one of the night shelters that Glass Door operates, providing safe shelter, a hot meal and a warm welcome throughout the winter months. Shelters of that kind will unfortunately not be possible this year, but Glass Door remains committed to providing those same markers of human dignity to those who find themselves in crisis this winter.

Please donate anything you can. Together, we can help to provide shelter and support to someone who has nowhere else to turn.

Please share with family and friends on Facebook and Twitter - and beyond - so we can reach our target, and together we can bring more people in off the streets. Thank you.

Thank you!
