Glass Door hosts an annual Sleep Out event on the first Friday in October. But you don't have to wait if you want to sleep out to raise funds and awareness.

An any night of the year, give up the luxury of your bed and swap it for a sleeping bag on the floor. It can be a great team building experience, and it is a great way to get a small sense of some of the challenges faced by someone who has no choice but to sleep rough. You will also be raising money and awareness to help Glass Door provide shelter and support. Our fundraising packs provide you with all the essential tips for hosting your own Sleep Out, ensuring you have fun and help give someone the support they need to rewrite their future.

Here's how to get started:

1) Decide on a day and get your group together

This is the hard part. You'll need to find somewhere safe like an enclosed school courtyard or church yard. Obtain the permission from whomever owns the grounds if needed.

2) Get in touch

Once you have decided on the location and the date, make sure you let us know.  We will send you our fundraising guidelines to ensure you are being legal and safe. And we would love to support you in any way we can.

3) Set up a Fundraising Page
