Our weekly women's group is a safe, welcoming space for homeless and vulnerably housed women. Offering crafts, refreshments, and casework, the group's restorative atmosphere allows women to relax and safely access Glass Door's support services. Read more about our women’s group here.

Why we need you

Volunteers help set up the space, chat to guests, serve refreshments, and facilitate crafts, alongside female caseworkers and office staff. It’s important that we create a calm, welcoming space for women to come and relax and be themselves, and our friendly, helpful and non-judgemental volunteers help us do that.

Where and when

Women's Group is on Tuesday afternoons 3-5pm in Chelsea. Volunteers wouldn't need to be available every week, but ideally would be able to commit to two sessions per month.

I really like to try and make our guests feel welcome. A smile & ‘welcome’ is sometimes all it takes.
