On Friday, 20th March, we will be walking 10km overnight in central London in aid of Glass Door Homeless Charity.

Glass Door's vision is a future where no one experiences homelessness in London. They offer advice, shelter and support with our community partners, helping people build a route out of homelessness.

Over the years, it has become more and more evident that women’s homelessness is a growing issue and requires a tailored approach, and this has led to an increase in provisions created specifically for women, women’s homelessness research, and resources like the Women’s Census.

This winter has been Glass Door's third year running a Women’s Winter Night Shelter and dedicated Women’s Drop-in service. They also ensure that their other services are gender and trauma-informed so that they can offer suitable support for women experiencing homelessness in London all year round.

Last financial year, Glass Door supported a total of 753 women across their services.
