Coronavirus

In the week beginning 23 March, the majority of Glass Door shelter guests moved into London hotels, allowing them a safe place to self-isolate.

We continue to offer casework services to guests in hotels and other accommodation. We are also supporting individuals who are still on the street and will continue to advocate on behalf of all who need a safe place to self-isolate.

We have continued to keep our doors open to those in need throughout the pandemic. At our centres where we operate, we conduct COVID-19 specific risk assessments for each venue, which are updated regularly and are shared with local authorities. These risk assessments are created and maintained by trained Glass Door staff with support from a external Health & Safety consultant.

Thank you to all our partners, volunteers, staff and supporters for making our work possible.
