Get involved Trusts and foundations Trusts and foundations Working together Trusts and foundations play a significant role in helping Glass Door improve the lives of homeless people in the nation’s capital. If you are a trustee, have contact with a trust, or perhaps are setting one up, we would be delighted to hear from you to discuss how we can work together. Glass Door do not receive any funding that impedes our open access policy. This allows us to run our operations in a manner that best fits the needs of the homeless community we serve. Thus, we rely on donations from individuals, corporations, schools, community groups, churches, trusts and foundations. Flexible and targeted We recognise that trusts and foundations have specific interests or objectives, and we are happy to work with you to find a project or need that we can address together. For example some trusts and foundations fund work in a particular geographical area, others a specific night shelter, several support a specific initiative like our casework service or the purchase of new vans. Alternatively, many trusts and foundations make a general donation to be used wherever the need is greatest at the time. Get in touch Trusts and foundations of all sizes make transformation gifts to help homeless people who are living in crisis. Glass Door has the expertise, experience and commitment to make a real difference, but we need your investment. Please contact us; we would be delighted to have a conversation with you. Shining a light We list the support we receive in our Annual Report and Accounts. If you would like to be acknowledged on our website with a logo to show your support, please do let us know.
