Register now Homelessness is an issue I really care about, as London especially can be a tough place to live and it's desperately sad to see people living on our streets. I knew of Glass Door's great work in helping people end their homelessness, so I was keen to support with fundraising.” Ian, Glass Door Fundraiser From cycling the Scottish Highlands, to running the famous Royal Parks Half Marathon, and even taking part in a marathon overseas, this is a great opportunity to take on a personal challenge while also supporting us in our mission to end homelessness in London. Open access means that anyone experiencing or at risk of homelessness can turn to Glass Door, regardless of who they are or where they are from. This is what we achieved last year: 376 of our guests moved into housing. 2,190 guests received practical advice & personal advocacy through our team of experienced Caseworkers. 542 individuals found a safe place to sleep at our night shelters in winter. How your fundraising helps Glass Door £242 could fund a "move-on" package with personalised support sessions and a deposit top-up to help someone move into stable accommodation. £510 could provide 35 night shelter guests with a hot evening meal and breakfast for 5 nights in our winter night shelters. £1,155 could support five guests to stay in our emergency winter night shelter for one week.
