In 2019, the government committed to ending rough sleeping by 2024. As the recent Kerslake Commission’s recent report found, we are sadly not on track to meet this target. For World Homeless Day, Liam Geraghty from the Big Issue wrote an article assessing the reasons why this is the case, quoting representatives from various charities.
