Working at Glass Door Our vision is a future where no one has to sleep on the streets of London. Based in London, Glass Door coordinates the UK’s largest network of open-access services for people affected by homelessness. Since 1999, thousands of people have found safe shelter and the support needed to leave homelessness behind, thanks to the dedication of thousands of volunteers and partnerships formed with churches and drop-in centres. Our night shelters save lives and our support services help change lives. During the Covid-19 pandemic, new services were launched to ensure people experiencing homelessness could safely stay in individual rooms and had access to food and support to move beyond homelessness. Our values EDI (equality, diversity and inclusion) We are committed to ensuring Glass Door continues to be an organisation where everyone, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, marital or civil partner status, gender reassignment, race, colour, nationality, ethnic or national origin, religion or belief, pregnancy, disability, age or sex can participate, excel and contribute to our work. We foster a diverse and inclusive culture and welcome applicants from all sections of the community and particularly applications from people with lived experiences of homelessness. When you apply for a role with Glass Door, we ask you to complete this Equal Opportunities Monitoring Form. Doing so is voluntary and the information provided will be kept confidential and used for monitoring purposes only. While we work closely with churches and within places of faith, there is no obligation or expectation for our staff or volunteers to have or practise a faith. Individuals with connections to a variety of faiths or none work for, volunteer at, and use the services of Glass Door. Our perks Our current vacancies Manage Cookie Preferences
