After deciding what to do, please tell us about your fundraising plans. We will send you a personalised version of our fundraising guidelines to ensure you are being legal and safe. And we would like to assist you, follow your progress, and (if you agree) help spread the word on social media.

Set up an online fundraising page

We've created safe tools to help you create a fundraising page directly on our Glass Door website. Funds raised go directly in our account, and you can keep track of your donors and thank them automatically. Gift Aid automatically adds 25p for every £1 donated, when applicable. Easy, fast, efficient.

Download a sponsorship form

We've created a Sponsorship form for you to download and fill in.  If you suspect some of your supporters prefer to give cash donations, do it the old-school way. Download our template, deposit the cash in your bank account, and mail in a cheque for the amount you collected. NB - please be mindful that creating an online fundraising page would be preferable at this time, because of the reduced need for face-to-face contact and handling of cash. 

Spread the word

Tell friends, family and colleagues what you're doing and why. Share your online fundraising page via email, and spread the word on social media.
 

Use social media

• Type @GlassDoorLondon in your facebook, twitter and Instagram posts (you may need to 'like' us first on Facebook).
• Use #TeamGlassDoor on social media and other relevant hashtags. (eg: We're using ##GDSO and YouChoose for the Glass Door Sleep Out)
• Use photographs and videos to tell your fundraising story, show people how much effort you are putting into your fundraising and remind them to sponsor you.
• Challenge your friends to take part!
• Do add links to this website to show how your sponsorship could help Glass Door.
• Do tag other people to spread your message even further.
• Don’t forget that you are fundraising for London's men and women who have no where else to turn for shelter and support, so make sure that what you are saying is relevant and appropriate.

Write a Blog

Keep track of your thoughts, feelings, insights and write them down. Email us, and we'll publish online if appropriate.

What you're doing is amazing, and whether it's through a cake sale or a triathlon, the money you raise will make a difference in the lives of men and women who sorely need shelter, help and hope.
