In the press: Sleep Out 2022 For the last ten years, Glass Door has held a Sleep Out to raise funds for its work fighting homelessness. Most years it has taken place at the Duke of York Square in Chelsea, except for during Covid when it took place remotely. This year, for the second time, participants had the option of taking part in person at the square or remotely. Two news outlets that reported on the 10th Sleep Out were the London Post and Kensington Mums. Both articles quoted Glass Door’s interim CEO, Jo Carter: I am excited to be part of the Sleep Out and look forward to sharing the experience with my colleagues and with our supporters on what will be our 10th edition of the event. I know that there will a huge amount of camaraderie as people give up their beds for a night to raise essential awareness and funds. To be without a home is to be without safety, security, comfort, and peace. The funds we raise through the Glass Door Sleep Out, will enable us to continue to provide vital support for people at risk or experiencing homelessness.
