Keep Things Local published an interview with Chief Operating Officer Lucy Abraham in the winter edition of two of their local publications: Chiswick Locals and Hammersmith Locals.

The article details Glass Door's work throughout the year, with particular focus on the Winter night shelters. Editor Neil McKelvie interviewed Lucy. She says:

The key to our ethos is that we welcome men and women of all races, religions and social circumstances. We don’t need official referrals, we keep bureaucracy to a minimum and, while we use churches as our night shelters, there’s no proselytisation.

Lucy also discussed how the latest figures on homelessness show Glass Door's services are more vital than ever. Lucy says:

People end up on the streets for many reasons: the loss of a job, mental illness, the breakdown of a relationship, the death of a parent or partner. Whatever the cause, we’re committed to providing them with shelter and offering a route out of homelessness.

The article highlights the Glass Door Christmas Appeal which exists to raise crucial funds to keep the night shelters and casework services running.
