Sleep Out fundraising toolkit

Once you've registered and set up your fundraising page, follow these simple steps; together we can help more vulnerable people find shelter, help and hope this winter.

Spread the word

People will WANT to support you. So while we do not have any minimum fundraising ask, please do be ambitious. And remember it's not really about YOU. You are reaching out on behalf of people with nowhere to sleep and in desperate need of help.

First: Consider telling your closest friends and family first what you're doing and why. A "soft launch" allows you to gain some campaign momentum before asking more widely so you’ll feel confident reaching out to your broader networks. Because people are more likely to give when you are closer to your goal, getting a few key fundraisers started before your official launch can help you hit the ground running.

How: Contact your most dedicated supporters and ask them to make a donation on your fundraising page. You could even encourage them to reach out to their friends and family to start making an impact on your behalf.

What you're doing is amazing! The money you raise can make a life-changing difference in the lives of people who would otherwise sleep on the streets. THANK YOU.
